Next Meeting and Quilt Show

Our next meeting will be on Monday, March 3, 2008 in the kitchen in Saeger House from 12:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Here are some photos we took at the meeting last December 17th when the representative from the Rose Brooks Center in Kansas City, MO came to pick up our quilts.

The two photos above show the people who were still at the meeting when the representative (who is wearing the pink shirt) arrived. Rev. Thom is in the first photo; the quilt square he made at the Cobblestone Block Workshop last October is in the center of the quilt. (The placement of Rev. Thom's quilt square was accidental, but I wish I had done it on purpose.)

The above afghans, quilts, and blankets comprise our 2007 donations, or at least the ones I have photos for. If somehow I missed posting a quilt, please forgive me.

Next Meeting

Our next meeting is tomorrow, Monday, December 17th at 12:30 p.m. in the kitchen of Saeger House. A representative from the Rose Brooks Center will be there at 2:00 p.m. to pick up all the quilts and blankets we made this year.

The first meeting of 2008 will be on Monday, January 7th at 12:30 p.m. in the kitchen of Saeger House.
